Today is day 14 of the raw vegan detox-as I am getting closer to day 21 I am already making plans on how I am gonna celebrate completing it. Here is a quick video , that I just recorded .
Anything , that you put on your skin goes all over your body, so “if you won’t eat it, don’t put on your skin”.
A lot of people out there think that vegan and/or safe mineral makeup and skin care products can’t perform as well as the other commercial products. That is a common myth. There are people who also feel put off by the word ‘vegan’. You don’t have to be on a vegan diet to use vegan cosmetic products – these products are just about the safest products that you can apply on yourself and that is all! Here is why
Harmful toxins are present in every single mainstream body care and makeup products that we use. You can see that by reading the ingredients’ list on any of these products. Unfortunately, these are the very same products that are more conveniently available to us. These products use synthetic chemicals, animal byproducts, little or none vegetable byproducts, and so on. Those ingredients are cheap, so the company can make a profit, at the expense of your health. At the end, the consumers suffer without realizing why they are suffering.
Safe cosmetics are any cosmetics that use safe minerals, vegetable byproducts, essential oils, fruit and vegetable extracts, floral extracts, nuts, various roots, various waxes. On the other hand, vegan cosmetics are those that use fruit and vegetable extracts and/or byproducts, various roots, plant extracts, essential oils, floral extracts, nuts– the difference is that vegan products do not use any animal byproducts; that includes waxes. So, safe cosmetics do not imply vegan cosmetics.
