or may be I should say “Good morning”. You have been so good posting on the event wall on Facebook and I had such a good and long sleep last night , that I didn’t even post yesterday, as I went to bed just after sunset.
I feel so rejuvenated , may be my body really needed that after the last few days . In this post I want to share with you a very easy vegan recipe for a salad, that I like to have for breakfast. Before I went vegan I used to have a really “sweet tooth” and I would not let a day go by without me having some kind of of a chocolate bar or a piece of cake. Those simple processed carbohydrates are really of no benefit to your body.
Since I am vegan I eat a lot more carbohydrates , than ever before and I feel great. The carbs that come from fruits, nuts and whole grains are so incredibly good for you . Your brain thrives on them and you feel full and satisfied.
So this is a recipe of a morning salad . Here is what you need :
- 1 lettuce
- 3 celery sticks
- 1 apple
- 5 soaked almonds
- 1 date
- For the dressing
- juice from 1 lime , basil and a pinch of Himalayan salt
Chop all the ingredients . Then make the dressing . Combine the two and Enjoy. You get the sweet firm apple with the crunchy celery and all works really well together.
