“Easy Vegan Recipes” -30 Day Vegan Blogging Challenge -Day 5- Its all about the flavours

I am writing this post while I am listening to Bob Marley-amazing artist. The mood of his songs is so relaxing and loving.The thing about music is that you really lose a track of time.
This evening we had visitors and we agreed on vegan food so I am sharing one of the dishes , that we had-its raw, its vegan it takes literally 1o minutes to make. Makes a brilliant starter or a main course and its full of goodness.
Here is what you need :

  • sea weed sheets
  • lettuce
  • rocket salad
  • spinach
  • cucumber
  • celery
  • tomato
  • avocado

For the dressing

  • tamari sause
  • garlic
  • Chinese 5 spice

And for the other dressing

  • coriander
  • hemp oil (or olive oil)

So here is what you do. Chop the celery and the cucumber in to long thin sticks. Cut the leafy vegetables into long stripes and place them in the middle of the sea weed wrap. In a small bowl mix some tamari with the garlic and the Chinese spice and after that sprinkle some on the top of the vegetables.

Then roll it and cut in half. Chop some tomato and avocado and in another small bowl mix the coriander with the hemp oil and the sesame seeds. Put the dressing on the top and serve. easy vegan recipes

So there you have it my friends. This kind of food will make feel good and energize your cells. Its a perfect thing to have to nurture your body after a long week, like the one I’ve had. I am looking forward to the weekend and an extra day off on Monday -no school runs.
